April 2025 HEMA Fresh Grocery Immersion Program — Houston, TX
Designed and led a specialized immersion program for HEMA Fresh Grocery’s category chief buyers and Taiwanese food professionals. The program combined store tours of leading U.S. retailers (Aldi, Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, and Sysco) with insights from former Trader Joe’s, Sysco, and Daymon executives. Delivered a keynote presentation on “U.S. 101 R&D: From Concept to Commercial Scale”, focusing on private label development, clean-label formulation, scaling strategies, and best practices in the U.S. retail and foodservice systems.

Natural Products Expo West Trends Report
Annual presenter of the Natural Products Expo West Trends Report to Taiwanese brands and industry groups. Each year, the session delivers in-depth analysis of emerging natural ingredients, clean-label innovation, disruptive CPG categories, and actionable market intelligence to help Taiwanese companies identify opportunities and stay ahead in the U.S. and global markets.
December 2024 Panchiao Chapter Rotary Club -Taipei, Taiwan
Guest Speaker Delivered a 1.5-hour keynote titled “Navigating Food R&D in the U.S.: From Concept to Scale-up”. The presentation explored the full U.S. food and beverage innovation process — from strategy and ideation through rapid prototyping, consumer insights, pilot production, and commercialization — while highlighting global trends and opportunities for stronger Taiwan–U.S. collaboration.

101 R&D Development Program
Regular mentor and technical advisor in the 101 R&D Development Program, guiding Taiwanese small and medium-sized food and beverage enterprises on end-to-end product development. Focus areas include clean-label formulation, ingredient functionality, flavor optimization, shelf-life stability, scale-up strategies, and U.S. commercialization best practices.
UPCOMING ENGAGEMENT
May 2025 — Chicago, United States National
Restaurant Association (NRA) Show – Taiwanese SME Delegation Leading a curated delegation of 11 Taiwanese SMEs, organized in conjunction with NASME (National Association of Small and Medium Enterprises, Taiwan), AIT (American Institute in Taiwan), and Taiwan government officials. The program also includes the HAOSHi team (Taiwan’s leading agri-foodtech innovation hub dedicated to fostering sustainable food systems and healthier food innovation).
While attending the National Restaurant Association Show, the group will participate in a two-day immersive culinary experience hosted by Charlie Baggs Culinary Innovations, along with targeted matchmaking sessions and corporate visits focused on foodservice trends, supplier connections, retail channel opportunities, and strategic co-packer partnerships in the U.S. market.
