THE OPPORTUNITY

Their mission to innovate food that is good for us, animals as well as the planet, OmniFoods has since launched a series of sensational future food plant-based products to empower consumers to eat more sustainably and healthily.

OUR WORK

David Yeung and the Green Monday team conceived the innovative idea of crafting a plant-based vegan pork tonkatsu tailored to meet the dietary and religious restrictions of the Buddhist community, specifically targeting the Asian market. Under the guidance of BEACON, they successfully formulated a vegan pork analogue that faithfully replicated the texture and flavor of traditional pork. Following the triumph of this project, we continued to showcase his culinary prowess by developing a plant-based vegan whole salmon crafted from a blend of soy and wheat.

THE RESULT

Both product lines experienced delays in their 2020 launch due to COVID-19 challenges. Leveraging insights from the salmon product, they successfully introduced their classic & golden fillet.
