THE CHALLENGE
The leading Refrigerated Salad Dressing (RSD) brand in the U.S. sought to tap into the growing trend of consumers snacking throughout the day, with studies revealing that 69% prefer creamy-based dips. Combining this insight with flavor trends, the brand developed a new line of flavor-forward dips and spreads to meet the evolving snacking preferences of consumers.
OUR WORK
Through qualitative groups with frequent dip and dressing users, we gathered insights to identify key concepts. This spurred a week of ideation, blending various vegetable bases and purees with current flavor trends. The success of Litehouse dressing flavors, such as Avocado Ranch and Homestyle Ranch, further inspired the creation of a new line of flavorful dips and spreads.
THE RESULT
Crafted to meet changing consumer preferences, the new dips and spreads boast cleaner ingredients, bolder flavors, and enhanced taste. The packaging has been updated with vibrant visuals on new 12 oz. tubs, showcasing product versatility and ensuring eye-catching on-shelf appeal.
